After releasing my first single Cloud 9, little did I know that I would be featured in a local article and played on a few of the most important radio stations. But before that, let me go back in time and tell you a bit more about how this works.
A few weeks before my first ever song was released, my press agent Xavi and I started working on the press note. At that moment, I didn’t even have a clue about what ‘a press note’ really was. Basically, it consists of writing a detailed email or document that gives all the important information you have to know about that song, album, concerts, etc.
So, as I was saying, we started writing it in the most accurate way possible, trying to be as detailed as possible to transmit the song’s meaning to the fullest. Moreover, we attached a beautiful lyric video that was made to accompany the song.
Once we had it checked, double-checked and checked one more time, all we had to do was be ready and send it on the day of the single release. On that day, we sent it and all that was left to do was wait.
All of a sudden I started getting press reviews and articles about it; I have to say that everytime I receive a review about any of my songs it still shocks me.
Months after Cloud 9, I released Running far away and Percent, the other album singles that had been planned to come out. A similar thing happened; these are a few press and media platforms that have featured articles about the singles of my upcoming album ‘Waiting for the Aftermath’:
